Salesforce AE recommending AI Admin

This came across my desk yesterday. My client’s Salesforce AE is recommending an AI built for Salesforce as a replacement for having a senior Salesforce Consultant.

It’s really great to know that Salesforce has my back, right? I mean, I’m a supporter of AI, and this tool may be great, but this AE is literally suggesting that my client replace me with AI. I’ve had AI tools tell me to create a Connected App, which isn’t a thing anymore (that migrated to “External Client Apps”). I’ve had AI tools reference search results from several years ago in recommending a solution. AI tools have a very hard time keeping up with what is current and what is old information, whereas that’s pretty much job #1 for a Salesforce Consulting Partner.

Dear clients and prospects: Rest assured, I will use AI to provide the best solution I can for you, but in the end that solution will be the product of my flesh-and-blood Actually Intelligent human brain.
